Doc Larry was the definition of a true friend. He was kind, generous, caring and selfless. But my favorite quality was humility. Despite his many successes in life, he never looked down on anyone. He saw the best in people and wanted to build them up and encourage them to be their best self. That was his talent - to encourage and uplift. I love you my friend and I will miss you.

Dear Dayoan Family,
We are very sorry to hear about the loss, everyone are heart broken.

Doc Larry is a joker, he made us laugh
a good mentor, we learned a lot of things from him, the best doctor in real meaning, and a great perfect HERO for so many people we know. We love him so much.
I still remember the last story we heard from him it is all about his children, he is so proud father.

Condolence from our family*

Life is so much to look back when we lose a very respected and amazing person whose dedication to his chosen profession is done with love , enthusiasm. and and made sure the job was well delivered and done right in accordance with the law of God and the law of man . . Dr. Hilarion Dayoan we may have met you a few years before you left us but you have left a lifetime memory beyond comprehension imprinted in our hearts to emulate in moving forward as frontliners in the job you have left us . The sayings and jokes you shared in Ilocano in the early mornings and late evenings as you want to start early and to finish the tasks of the day will be remembered as they are associated to the facts of life back home and in here. . As you join our Creator of whom you said you are always ready may you have eternal life shine upon you . You maybe gone physically but our memories of you are forever imprinted in our hear. To the family friends and relatives we join you all in prayers and in grief in the passing away of our Dr. Larry . Dayoan . . We are Just a phone call away if we are needed God Nless

Hi Uncle Ayong,
I will miss you tremendously. Who will look out for me in my hyperchondriac episodes? Who will challenge my math skills? Who will fight auntie for the left hand side of the table? Who will be the calming presence in our family? Thank you for all the times we shared especially when we would visit you all in Hawaii, the road trip to the Bay Area, the parties in Sinait and the many times you calmed me down. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I love you and your family. YOU will be greatly missed.

To Gail, Jerry, Candice and Melody - uncle was like a father to me and I am blessed to have shared a bit of his life with you all. Many hugs and much love to you all.

Love,
Jane

To Where You Are
Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memories still clear.
You're still an inspiration.
You are ours, forever young
And you are watching over us from up above.

Fly me up to where you are beyond the distant star
I wish tonight to see you smile
If only for a while to know you're there
A breath away not far from where you are.

My name is Jo Ann, daughter fo Felisa Dayoan Banaria, older sister of Dr Hilarion C Dayoan. My fondest memory of Uncle Ayyong is seeing him draw a cartoon character, Sluggo, using both hands in unison. The drawing was identical. Thatโ€™s how amazing he was. Another one was when we visited him and family in Mililani. He took us to his clinic and saw how he got his patients who come in sick leave all feeling fine and upbeat. He spends time talking to all his patients, targeting the psychological side of their ailments and solving their medical problems. Uncle, you will be truly missed here and In Sinait. Your chuckle and your quiet cool calm disposition is truly admirable. May you Rest In Peace!! On behalf of my Mother, Feling, we Love you dearly! For the family you leave behind, the loss of a father is not the best thing in the world but rest assured we are all here praying for strength in this hard time. Our deepest condolence! - From Ray, Jo Ann & Jessica Rei.
